Jack Whitehall makes health admission about dad as he says ‘we had that conversation'
Jack Whitehall dropped a very candid health admission about his father Michael while appearing on BBC's The One Show.
Hosted by Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Michael and Jack sat on the sofa together to discuss their new show Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father, as Jack prepared to welcome his first child. But the pair were apparently so "desperate" for content they resorted to extreme measures at one point.
Jack spilled: "We loved working together. But we did have a really good time doing that, but we were desperate to find something else to do and we were getting quite desperate, to be honest. Even, at one point last year Michael unfortunately had to go in for a colonoscopy."
Host Alex chimed in: "Oh no, Michael!" as Michael jokingly insisted: "That is a vicious, vicious lie. I have never had a colonoscopy. I have never had one."
Talking over his dad, comedian Jack explained: "It was two years ago and at the end- You have! And at the end they give you a DVD and we had that conversation where we said, 'Maybe we could sell that to Netflix and call it Travels Inside My Father'. We did! We had a whole discussion."

It's unclear if Jack meant the whole thing as a joke – but he left the hosts feeling awkward, as Roman Kemp was forced to cut the segment short.
The pair dropped an even more TMI confession as they discussed taking pregnancy classes, where Michael learned about "perineal massage" – and what a perineum is.
Michael admitted: "I didn’t even know what [a perineum] was. I thought it was to do with my friend Neil." Jack quipped: "Hopefully you’ve been nowhere near his perineum."
Things got strained in the studio as Roman announced: "I'm being told to move on!" and Alex yelled: "Close that door, we don't need to know!"
Things got even wilder when Jack underwent simulated pregnancy pains using a TENS machine on TV, admitting it was “very, very painful.” He joked: “That is the closest I’ve ever come on television to anal prolapse. It was incredibly, incredibly painful.”
Roman then snapped: "Let’s move on. It’s Friday, but let’s move on. "
