An Idaho State Patrol vehicle was struck by an out-of-control semi-truck near Idaho’s border with Montana, Idaho State Police (ISP) said, adding that no troopers were in the car and no injuries were reported.
In a statement accompanying the video, police said the driver was later cited by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office for driving too fast for conditions and leaving the scene of a crash. He was found 10 miles from the crash scene in Montana, they said.
“This video from last week is an excellent reminder to slow down and drive for conditions,” ISP said.
“This could have been a family in a stalled car. Instead, it was an ISP cruiser with the Trooper thankfully, not hurt,” police said. Credit: Idaho State Police via Storyful
