Jacksonville Brewery Owner Makes Raft Out of Beer Kegs to Navigate Storm Nicole Floodwaters

A business owner in Jacksonville, Florida, got creative when it came to maneuvering through streets flooded by Tropical Storm Nicole, with footage showing him aboard a raft fashioned out of beer kegs.

The video, shot on November 10, shows Ben Davis, the owner of lntuition Ale Works, a local brewery, paddling along on his makeshift vessel.

The footage was filmed by Brad Lange, who works at the brewery.

Lange told Storyful that the raft was made out of beer kegs and pallets, and that Davis used it to “explore the streets” around the building that were flooded during the storm. Credit: Brad Lange via Storyful
