The son of Will Smith says how he wants to pave the ways for other to feel comfortable about expressing themselves however they wish.

The star, who is often pictured wearing skirts and other clothes items traditionally associated with women, says the key is to stop caring what others think.

He said: “You just have to believe in yourself, you know.

"The world is going to keep bashing me for whatever I do, and I’m going to keep not caring. I’m going to keep doing the same things - I’m going to keep doing more things.”

The young actor hopes that he can use his fame to remove the stigma around the subject of gender fluidity.

He explained: “So, you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him. I’m taking the brunt of it so that later on, my kids and the next generations of kids will all think that certain things are normal that weren’t expected before my time.”

The 17-year-old already has his own clothing and lifestyle brand, MSFTSrep, which he says he will use to support this ethos.
