Jadon Sancho 'joins Manchester United WhatsApp group' ahead of £108m transfer deadline

Jadon Sancho has already joined the Manchester United squad's WhatsApp group, according to reports.

Talks between United and Borussia Dortmund continue over what is expected to be a club-record deal for the Manchester giants.

Dortmund are demanding their £108million asking price be met and have put an August 10 deadline for an agreement to be reached.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made Sancho his no.1 transfer priority this summer, and Standard Sport understands the club will exhaust all avenues in negotiations to conclude a deal.

For his part, Sancho is understood to be determined to join United and the Transfer Window Podcast claim he has already linked up with his potential new team-mates.

"Manchester United are comfortable at this moment in time that they're not in any competition for the signature of Jadon Sancho," it was reported.

"No other club has expressed the same level of interest and they're also very confident the player wants to come to Old Trafford.

"He has been in constant touch with England international colleagues who currently play for Manchester United. It's even believed he's on a WhatsApp group with some of the Manchester United players as well.

"Therefore United are very comfortable with their position, they believe that Dortmund will come round to the structure that they've suggested."
