Jake Paul has aimed a fresh dig at Tommy Fury and even compared himself to Muhammad Ali.

The American was due to fight Fury in Tampa Bay on Saturday before the latter pulled out after suffering a broken rib and a viral chest infection. In his place, Tyron Woodley will fight Paul for the second time this year, having lost the first bout through a split decision.

Paul, whose record currently stands at 4-0 (3KO) was speaking to DAZN during an open workout ahead of his fight.

The comparison, of course, will grate on boxing purists and comes days after Anthony Taylor - the man who lost to Fury earlier this year - suggested his style was similar to that of Oleksandr Usyk.

“I’m 24-years-old. I can take over the world and become the next Muhammad Ali at the rate this is going,” he said.

“What does he have? He has nothing. I have a much bigger story here. A much bigger presence. I’m doing something that no one has ever done before.

“For him to win, it doesn’t help the sport. It doesn’t help the world, and no one will really care.”
