Jake Quickenden has opened up about the deaths of his father and brother – who sadly died within four years of each other – and the impact it's had on his life.
On Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Ant Middleton and Jason 'Foxy' Fox asked Jake, "Take me back to what you've been through in life, to have that determination because you seem like a very strong young man with something to prove."
As he became visibly emotional, X Factor and Dancing on Ice star Jake revealed, "Probably about three or four years ago I wasn’t the man I was now. I’ve tried to grow up a lot.

"I lost my dad and brother. I lost my dad when I was 20 and my little brother when I was 24. To cancer."
"[My brother] was like my best mate. So that changed me a lot. I was supposed to look after my brother.
Speaking about his experience on the show, that sees celebrities go through intense military training, Jake said, "This show was a form of counselling. The way Ant and Foxy dealt with me was great.

"They were amazing in how they made me look at things. Being stripped back and realising we all go through loss, it really helped me.
"I left them looking at life in a different way. I'm a very emotional person and I don't think that's a bad thing."
Tonight's (September 5) episode saw the recruits complete challenges such as wrestling each other, jumping from a helicopter into the sea and dealing with a hostage situation. It also saw TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson dropped from the group, after she ranked herself lowest of all the recruits.
