James Arthur has hit out at tabloid claims that he kissed Little Mix's Jesy Nelson at the Brit Awards after-party.
The X Factor winner posted a frustrated statement on his Twitter account, insisting the two of them were just "talking closely".
Firstly we were not kissing we were talking closely because it was loud as fuck in a club, have you ever tried having a conversation when theres loud music, you gotta be tactile. sad state of a affairs when a guy and a girl can’t sit and chat without being romantically involved. https://t.co/JEDf5nEZ0O

The tweet read: "Firstly, we were not kissing we were talking closely because it was loud as f**k in a club. Have you ever tried having a conversation when theres loud music? You gotta be tactile. Sad state of affairs when a guy and a girl can’t sit and chat without being romantically involved."
Little Mix missed out on the 'Best British Group' award at the Brits last night (February 20), which caused their fanbase to cry foul.
The girls were up against some heavy hitters though – including rock band Arctic Monkeys and eventual winners The 1975.
But it seems like Little Mix's legion of followers grows with every day that passes, and their voices were heard loud and clear as they shared their support for the girlband on social media.
Even if the girls didn't manage to take that particular statue home, they still nabbed 'Music Video of the Year' for 'Woman Like Me'.
Little Mix also performed on stage earlier in the show, and made headlines when host and comedian Jack Whitehall tried to reignite their feud with Piers Morgan over their 'Strip' photoshoot.
