James Blunt thinks 'You're Beautiful' is 'f**ked up'
When James Blunt's 'You're Beautiful' was unleashed upon the world in 2005, it instantly became one of the most Marmite-y songs of all time.
Some people love it and want it as the first dance at their wedding, others despise it with every fibre of their being.
James Blunt himself is pretty mixed on the song (he does owe it a lot), but he thinks that loads of people have got the song completely wrong.
Speaking to The Huffington Post, Blunt said "Everyone goes, 'Ah, he's so romantic. I want 'You're Beautiful' as my wedding song'.
"These people are f**ked up."
So, what is the song actually about then, Blunty?
"'You're Beautiful' is not this soft romantic f**king song," he continued. "It's about a guy who's high as a f**king kite on drugs in the subway stalking someone else's girlfriend when that guy is there in front of him.
"He should be locked up or put in prison for being some kind of perv."
Blunt is currently at work promoting his new album, The Afterlove, which contains a touching tribute to the actress Carrie Fisher.
Blunt had a very close friendship with Fisher, describing her recently as his "American mum".
He also explained on The Nightly Show that she let him stay in her house in LA while he recorded his breakthrough album.
Shall we have a listen to everyone's favourite/least favourite song of all time?
