Recent allegations against James Franco about sexual misconduct are not going away, as three women unite to highlight them further.

The Disaster Artist actor is among a slew of big-name stars who have found themselves under the spotlight of sexual misconduct allegations.

Violet Paley, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Tatjana Liepelt all sat down with Inside Edition to share their stories.

Paley was the first to highlight Franco's name earlier this year, tweeting her concerns during the Golden Globes. She reportedly dated him in 2016.

"I was so upset at his hypocrisy," she said to Inside Edition. "I wanted the world to know."

She accuses Franco of pressuring her to perform a sexual act in his car, explaining: "I could have said no, but because of the power dynamic the situation was so surreal. I wanted him to like me."

Liepelt was Franco's assistant from 2012 to 2013, and she says the two were in a relationship.

"He definitely has two personalities," she said. "That doesn't mean that he doesn't have a great sweet side, but when he has his other side, it is the complete polar opposite."

Tither-Kaplan was a student in one of Franco's acting classes, and says she agreed to appear nude in one of his movies – but was then asked to also take part in a bonus scene involving an orgy.

"I don't even know what to say - I'm terrified for my career," Tither-Kaplan explained. "It was a lot of nudity and sex scenes that I felt were not artistically justified and were added in after the fact."

Franco has denied allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour from these women and two others, with the actor's attorney deeming them "not accurate".

Scarlett Johansson called out the actor this week in her Women's March speech, saying: "How could a person publicly stand by an organisation that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?"

Franco's sister-in-law Alison Brie, on the other hand, has suggested she 'supports' him, although she added: "Of course, now is a time for listening."
