Yahoo News James Middleton surprises Dancing On Ice viewers as he cheers on Donna Air
Dancing On Ice viewers were in for a shock during last night’s [14 January] show, with fans being left stunned when they spotted the Duchess of Cambridge’s brother, James Middleton, sitting in the live studio audience.
James swapped royalty for reality TV as he sat among the crowd to cheer on his girlfriend Donna Air as she made her debut in the competition.

As Donna took to the ice for her first solo routine, James was shown proudly applauding – seemingly confirming that the pair are back on solid terms after four years of an on/off relationship, with the couple last believed to have split in October last year.

Donna is far from Kate Middleton’s only link to the reality TV circuit, with her and James’ sister, Pippa, famously marrying Spencer Matthews’ brother, James Matthews, last year.
