Yahoo News James and Ola Jordan finally reveal their baby daughter's name
Former Strictly Come Dancing professionals James and Ola Jordan have finally revealed the name of their baby daughter.
The couple, who welcomed their first child on 29 February, struggled to find a name for their daughter, admitting that she went without one for a whole week.
But Ola has now revealed her daughter's name to be Ella.
"We didn’t have a name for the first week – she was just Baby, our little munchkin," Ola told Hello! magazine.
She continued: "It’s been amazing and overwhelming at the same time. We’ve wanted this for so long. We had a lovely life, but this is making us feel so much happier than anything else we have done. Nothing in our careers measures up to this. It feels perfect."
Dancing on Ice winner James, added: "It is all the more special because it’s something we never thought would happen. Our trophies and accolades fade into the background.
"This is the best moment of our lives, without a shadow of a doubt. Ola has given me the most precious gift. It’s totally changed the way I see the world."
Ola first announced she was pregnant back in September last year, writing on Instagram: "Getting pregnant wasn’t straight forward for us and it’s been a long and emotional journey but we were one of the lucky ones.
"My heart goes out to all those couples still trying for that magical moment and I’ll always keep a prayer in my heart for you."
She added: "I can’t actually believe I’m writing this but I’m so happy to say James and I are expecting a baby. We are both so excited to add a little munchkin into our family."
Strictly Come Dancing will return for an all-new series later this year on BBC One.
