James Van Der Beek is expecting his fifth child

Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly have revealed they're preparing to welcome a fifth child later this year.

The couple, who married in 2010, already share four children together – seven-year-old Olivia, five-year-old Joshua, four-year-old Annabel Leah and Emilia, who'll turn two next month – and James enlisted their help to deliver the announcement on Instagram in an adorable post on Friday (February 23).

"Thrilled beyond belief to announce that we are once again adding to our family," James captioned a picture of his children reaching out to touch their mum's baby bump.
