Jamie Oliver unveils incredible Christmas-themed kitchen with festive lights
Jamie Oliver, a staple on TV screens, cookbooks and podcasts, leads a quiet life away from his celebrity persona in a beautiful village in Essex - and he is already getting ready for Christmas, decorating his kitchen in festive-themed decor. Residing in an Elizabethan mansion that was once "falling down" in a quaint Essex village, the celebrity chef's personal world is years away from the hustle and bustle of TV life.
Tucked away in a scenic countryside setting, Spains Hall, valued at a staggering £6 million and situated near Finchingfield, offers sanctuary to Jamie, his wife Jools, and their children: Daisy Boo, Poppy Honey, Buddy Bear, Petal Blossom, and River Rocket. The 49-year-old chef, originally from Clavering, Essex, swapped the hustle and bustle of London for this rural retreat post-pandemic, following 25 years in the capital.
Today, Jamie Oliver has taken to Instagram to unveil his Christmas kitchen transformation at the £6 million Essex home that he shares with his wife Jools and their five children. The Channel 4 chef's rustic kitchen, one of the most special rooms at his Spains Hall abode, was given a festive transformation.

Eagle-eyed fans can spot twinkling fairy lighting lining the shelves. Mistletoe and fir branches are draped over the shelves, with pretty orange and red ornaments adding a splash of colour.
Jamie had also lit several candles to add to the Christmas vibe as he got to work in the kitchen. In his Instagram post, Jamie is seen holding son River upside down while enjoying the festive scenery, and working on some yummy food.
He said in his post: "There are only 6 more Mondays until Christmas and if this pic of me and River doesn't sum up the difference between how parents and kids feel at this news I don't know what will ha ha ha. Big love everyone I hope you all have a fab week."
