Jamie Redknapp breaks silence on Emily Atack romance... and it's not looking good
Jamie Redknapp has broken his silence on dating Emily Atack – and it’s not looking good.
The former footballer, 45, appeared to reject Atack’s advances after she made multiple plays for him during her time on I’m A Celebrity.
Atack jokingly asked Jamie’s father Harry Redknapp to set her up with his recently-divorced son, claiming she would make a “really good daughter in law”.
But Jamie was quick to shut down talk of a romance after he was asked which was more likely: Liverpool winning the Champions League or him taking Atack on a date.
“What’s more likely did you say? Ah Deano come on. Leave it out,” he told Dean Saunders on talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Breakfast show.
“Listen, she’s a very nice girl isn’t she. Let’s leave it at that.”

Atack quizzed Harry on her chances with Jamie, who recently called time on his marriage to Louise Redknapp, during their time in the jungle camp. She then made a second play on leaving, saying the football pundit might be interested after seeing her with “her make-up on”.
“I am sure if he had seen me in action over the last few weeks he might not be up for it,” she told Lorraine. “But I’ve got my make up on now, so he might be!”
Her mother also shared a picture of herself with Harry and his wife Sandra and joked that she had met her daughter's “potential in-laws”.

Harry joked that he thought Atack had “no chance” with his son, until he saw her all “scrubbed up” at the show’s wrap party on Monday night.
“When I first saw her in the jungle, I thought no chance, but I’ve seen her today when she’s scrubbed up and she looks alright, I’m telling ya,” he said on Good Morning Britain.
“She looks good. But when I saw her in the jungle I thought no, you ain’t got a prayer.”
Atack finished the show in second place to Harry who became King of the jungle.
Jamie posted a video of himself watching his father’s crowning moment with his two sons Charlie, 14, and Beau, 10.
