Jane McDonald has been flooded with sweet messages as she reunites with best friend Sue for another series of a popular TV show. The Yorkshire star announced the duo will appear on Celebrity Gogglebox for another series.

The star recently took some time to focus on her singing career as she planned a tour, however she is finally making her return to prime-time TV. Jane and Sue made their debut on Celebrity Gogglebox back in June last year and their appearance was instantly a hit with fans.

Announcing the exciting news with her followers, Jane took to Instagram and shared a picture with Sue on set for the Channel 4 show.

It comes as Jane recently disappointed fans by dropping a hint that she would never return to Loose women. The singer appeared on the ITV hit daytime show from 2004 to 2014. Speaking to Woman magazine, Jane spoke about her time on the show. She said: “We could get away with things that we could never do now.

“And it was an era of girls who were not just colleagues – we were a force to be reckoned with. We were like Sex and the City when we hit the town. We’d have taken a bullet for each other. I don’t think I could go back without my friends on the same panel.”
