Janelle Monáe will play a huge headline show in London next year.

The American artist, who released her latest album, Dirty Computer, last April, will visit the SSE Arena in Wembley in July 2019.

It will come two days before her appearance at Manchester International Festival — her only other UK date confirmed for 2019.

Monáe wowed the capital in September with two sold-out shows at the Roundhouse. In a five-star review of the first night, the Standard called it “a triumphant performance that celebrated sexual liberation, feminism and individuality”, adding that the show had “a truly inclusive atmosphere”.
