Japan to provide $2.8 billion in refugee aid over three years from 2016: Abe

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Japan will provide an additional $2.8 billion in humanitarian aid to help deal with the global refugee crisis over three years from 2016, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Monday. Abe made the pledge at a United Nations summit on refugees on the sidelines of the annual U.N. General Assembly. (Reporting by David Brunnstrom)
