Whether you're a Netflix and Chill guy, an Amazon Prime and Wine girl or somewhere in-between, we all love streaming TV shows and movies. Discs? Never heard of them.

One person who has taken his love of online content to the next level is Jared Leto, who has actually been named chief creative officer of streaming service Fandor.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leto's own streaming platform VyRT will combine with Fandor to provide users with indie films, shorts and documentaries from around the world.

In a statement, Leto said "As a long-time Fandor subscriber, I developed a special appreciation for their distinctive programming and recommendation engine. Specifically, the 'human element' that sets Fandor apart from so many other services in this space, most of which are purely algorithmic.

"With my involvement in the broadcasting and social platform business for over five years with my company, VyRT, I'm very much looking forward to this collaboration and know I can bring a unique perspective."

So, if you wanted to become the head honcho of, say, Crunchyroll, all you have to do is become a super-successful actor and musician with your own digital content platform on the side. Easy.

One of Leto's upcoming film projects is Blade Runner 2049, the long-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott's classic. You can watch a trailer for the film, which also stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, below:
