"As parents we spend all the young years runnin and gunnin, just trying to keep up and raise good humans. One day you wake up and they are almost grown and you realize you did pretty good at this dad thing," Aldean wrote.
He continued, "I can’t believe it’s been 17 years since you came in the world. You have been such a joy for all of us watching you grow up and seeing what kind of person you are. I’m so proud of you and all you stand for."
"I love u so much and hope u have the best day. Happy bday Kendyl ! 🎉 🎊 ," the proud dad added.
In the photos, the father-daughter duo can be seen hugging, enjoying a baseball game from the stands and smiling with their arms around one another.

Aldean and Ussery also share daughter Keeley, 21. Additionally, the musician is a dad to son Memphis, 6, and daughter Navy, 5, whom he shares with Brittany.
In November 2021, Aldean spoke with PEOPLE about pursuing his career in music while also raising a family.
"It feels good to know that for the last 16 years, I've had a chance to wake up and go do a job that I truly love to do," Aldean said. "If it all went away tomorrow, I'd be like, 'My kids are good. It's been great.' I got no regrets at all."
Although he doesn't have any regrets, Aldean has previously shared that it hasn't always been easy balancing his career with his family.
"I don't wanna say I've accomplished everything that I set out to do because I haven't, but I've accomplished a lot more than what I thought I would," Aldean told PEOPLE. "I got four beautiful kids. I got a beautiful wife and had a great career."
