Jason Derulo and Will Smith have gone viral with a TikTok prank video.

In the clip, which can be viewed below, Smith is seen offering Derulo help with his golf technique, in front of a virtual reality backdrop.

The I Am Legend actor tells Derulo to “hold it”, as he steps towards him, adding “don’t swing yet”.

But the “Talk Dirty” singer doesn’t wait, and seemingly knocks out Smith’s front teeth with an errant swing of the club.

The scene descends into more violence as Smith tries to retaliate with a swing of his own, aimed at Derulo.

Viewers were quick to discern that the golf lesson gone wrong was in fact a staged prank by the pair, with several describing the stunt as “hilarious”.

Derulo also shared the video on Instagram, with the caption: “I don’t like this game @WillSmith”

Video sharing app TikTok has been at the centre of controversy recently, as Donald Trump proposed a ban “to protect our national security”.

The move comes amid concerns from the US government and some scholars that TikTok is being used to share data about its users with the Chinese government.

TikTok will reportedly file a lawsuit against the Trump administration after the US president signed an executive order effectively banning the app in 45 days.
