Yahoo News Jason Donovan teases what Neighbours' Scott and Charlene are up to now
Jason Donovan has dropped hints about what iconic Neighbours characters Scott and Charlene are up to these days.
The actor has kept fans waiting for a return to Erinsborough for 30 years while he had a successful pop and stage career, most recently appearing in a revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Sheridan Smith.
The cast of Joseph dropped by The One Show on Thursday, where Jason revealed that he'll be headed back to Melbourne later this year to star in a production of Chicago and catch up with his family.

He also told presenters Angela Scanlon and Michael Ball that he planned to make his first-ever return visit to the Neighbours set to visit his daughter Jemma, who plays Harlow Robinson.
"I've never been back," Jason admitted. "This is a good reason to go back."
Asked if there was "any dirt" on why he'd never gone back to visit, the actor clarified: "There's not any reason. My dad [Terence Donovan] was in the show. He played Doug Willis for a long time.
"But I haven't spent a lot of time in Melbourne for many years."
When Michael Ball quizzed him on if Scott and Charlene would still be married, Jason revealed: "I think we still live in Brisbane!"
Neighbours has kept the legacy of both characters alive in recent years by introducing their children, Daniel (Tim Phillipps) and Madison (Sarah Ellen).

Angela Scanlon also quizzed Jason on whether a possible set-visit could open the door to properly returning to Neighbours as Scott Robinson at some point.
He echoed a recent answer by telling them: "I think I'd go back if there was a group of us that could go back."
The One Show airs Mondays through Fridays at 7pm on BBC One. Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
