Jason Kelce Proves He's the Women's Olympics Rugby Team's No. 1 Fan with Epic Shirt Featuring Ilona Maher's Face

The bold look comes after the retired NFL player nodded to the 2024 Olympics' Parisian setting by rocking a blue beret

As Jason Kelce’s bold fashion streak continues, so does his love of rugby!

On Tuesday, July 30, the retired NFL player, 36, showed off his latest 2024 Paris Olympics outfit, and the ensemble is a love letter to the United States women’s rugby team — and specifically, star player Ilona Maher.

In a photo shared by his and brother Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights' X account (formerly known as Twitter), Jason rocks a button-up shirt covered entirely in red, white and blue. Oh, and it has Maher’s face plastered all over it.

In between stars and stripes graphics are tons of cutouts of the 27-year-old rugby star’s face, making for one of Jason’s most interesting ensembles to date, and solidifying his status as the team and player’s No. 1 fan.

"Jason’s Olympic fits just get better and better,” the X post reads.

The eccentric top, which he paired with athletic shorts and a “USA” baseball cap, comes after the former Philadelphia Eagles center met Maher and the rest of Team USA — and became their unofficial mascot.

On Sunday, July 28, Jason stopped by the players’ locker room following their winning game against Brazil, and Maher argued that he should become a certified “superfan” of the team.

In a video Maher shared on TikTok, the star can be heard telling the retired athlete, "Women's water polo has Flavor Flav as their superfan, and you are a girl dad.”

"Do you get anything from being our superfan? No. There's no reward, no money, no benefits, I don't think I can get you free stuff,” she continued, as Jason joked, “You’re a great salesman.”

The NFL alum then declared his “superfan” status, telling the camera, "I am officially a fan of women's rugby, Olympics."

"We got Jason Kelce!" Maher yelled in response, a declaration that was met with excited screams from the rest of her team.

As Jason made his statement about rugby, he also made a fashion statement, nodding to the 2024 Olympics’ Parisian setting by rocking a beret.

The New Heights host first debuted the accessory during a surprise appearance at Team USA’s women's field hockey match with wife Kylie Kelce the day before, on Saturday, July 27.

He paired the blue beret with a matching blue USA sweatshirt, while Kylie also kept things patriotic in a white jacket with red and blue striped details.

Some of Jason’s notable pre-Olympic style moments include the iconic Kansas City Chiefs-colored luchador wrestling mask-overall combo he wore to celebrate brother Travis’s Super Bowl win earlier this year, and his controversial choice to wear sandals year-round — much to Travis’ disapproval.

Throwing a jab at Jason’s style on a June episode of New Heights, Travis joked that his brother is a “neanderthal that wears flip-flops in the winter and doesn’t even care what he looks like.”
