Jay Slater's friend Lucy shares fresh pictures of missing teen after flying home

Jay Slater's pal Lucy Law has shared a new unseen picture of the missing teenager after returning to the UK. Lucy was the last person to speak to Jay before he went missing in mid-June, and reported the teen missing after he failed to return to their accommodation in Tenerife.

The 18-year-old has shared the new snaps showing Jay smiling with his close friends before he disappeared. The five new pictures, which she has posted to Instagram, show the trainee bricklayer smiling ear-to-ear and hanging out at events.

Lucy has helped assist the search for Jay, and even raised tens of thousands of pounds for his family. When posting another picture earlier this month, she broke her silence on the missing persons case, and described the situation as "weird".

She said in a post: "There's something weird going on. It is suspicious. In two days you're telling me someone's not seen him. There's a restaurant 10 minutes away that he would have seen or walked past. It's suspicious and it's weird."

She added: "Fair enough it didn't open for another two hours but if that were me I would have sat and waited at the restaurant till it opened. As soon as it opened I would have said, 'Please can you put my phone on charge' and then I would have rung someone, I would have rung a taxi."

Jay's uncle Glen Duncan, 41, has described the family's situation as "just desperate - despair". Pal Lucy was also the one who set up a GoFundMe to raise money for Jay and to help finance the search.

It has since reached over £50,000 as well-wishers rush to support the family, who hail from the North West, amid the deepening mystery over him vanishing in the European Union holiday hotspot back in mid-June.
