JB Gill's Strictly promise to partner Amy Dowden
The JLS star has vowed he will never drop his pro partner in rehearsal - and will always be the one to fall first.
What did you miss?
Strictly Come Dancing's JB Gill has promised to never drop Amy Dowden in rehearsals.
The JLS star has vowed to his professional dance partner that he will always be the one to fall first, rather than let her drop out of his arms. The pair performed three lifts in their Wonka-themed American Smooth in Movies Week, and Dowden has said she feels completely safe in Gill's arms.
What, how, and why?
The pair appeared on BBC Two Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two on Tuesday evening where host Fleur East asked Dowden how she felt about being lifted by Gill.
Dowden said: "Oh, really comfortable. We didn't actually have one mishap in training when it comes to the lift. Is that because you're always like just swinging your kids around?" Gill replied: "There were a couple of times where we were still trying to work out the lifts, and I said to Amy, 'I will never drop you. It's just not gonna happen. So whatever happens either we're both gonna go down, or it will be alright. I think it's just psychologically not wanting to let Amy down. I don't mind, you know, fumbling something or you know, when mistakes happen. But I'm never, ever gonna drop her, so she doesn't have to worry about that."

What else happened on It Takes Two?
Montell Douglas confessed heels are still her nemesis four weeks into the show.
The Gladiators star and Olympic athlete has so far danced a foxtrot, a samba and a tango with partner Johannes Radebe. She said: "Honestly I just think my structure isn't designed for heels. It's been really tricky because they're not the most comfortable. But also I'm just not used to it as well. And you're also trying to think choreography and dance and form while literally holding on with my toes for dear life. Gripping on. So it's just finding a balance on these size 10 boots that I've got on my feet, with the tiniest ankles you've ever seen in your life."
Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two at 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
