Paris Jackson, Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid model in Jean-Paul Gaultier's final catwalk show
Fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier hosted his final catwalk show in Paris last night, signalling the end of a 50-year career.
Over 100 models walked the runway at the event, held at the city’s Théâtre du Châtelet, including a number of A-listers.
American supermodel sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid were included in the line-up, in addition to burlesque star Dita Von Teese and Bradley Cooper’s former partner Irina Shayk.
Karlie Kloss, Winnie Harlow, Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls also featured and the late Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris made her catwalk debut in snakeskin trousers and towering platform shoes.
Singer Boy George, former French first lady Carla Bruni and British model Karen Elson were also in attendance.
The news that the show, which was held as part Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last night, would be Gaultier’s last was only announced last week.
The designer tweeted a video to share the news, saying: “It's going to be quite a party with many of my friends, and we're going to have fun until very, very late.”
The 67-year-old designer has enjoyed a hugely successful career and dressed award-winning actors and musicians including Lady Gaga, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna and Kylie Minogue.
He’s arguably most famous for the ‘cone bra’ corset he created for Madonna to wear on her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour.
Celebrities have praised Gaultier for ‘50 glorious years’ on social media.
British model Naomi Campbell tweeted a video highlighting some of her moments modelling for the brand.
