Jenna Ortega tells fans "please don't" as Wednesday TikTok trend goes viral
Jenna Ortega has urged fans to stop participating in a viral trend, which sees people mistreating Wednesday dolls in shops.
The TikTok trend entails pushing back the hair of the plush doll so that the forehead is bare and the character looks bald.
The trend has become so widespread that one department store had to warn shoppers against messing with the dolls. "Do not flip Wednesday's hair, you will be asked to leave," the poster read.

According to NME, Wednesday star Jenna Ortega has also intervened by pleading with fans to stop the trend. "Please don't," she commented on one of the TikTok videos.
Meanwhile, a recent teaser video has revealed that Wednesday herself might not be the biggest fan of dolls. In a first look at Wednesday season two, Ortega is seen as the titular character, wielding a knife. "Let's play dolls," she announces ominously.
The behind-the-scenes video featured an exclusive montage of the spooky set, with Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams) teasing: "This season is going to be bigger and more twisted than you can ever imagine."

"If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed… and I'm not that generous," added Ortega.
The highly anticipated Netflix series is currently being filmed in Ireland and is set to arrive on the streaming service in 2025.
The teaser video confirmed the return of Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams) and Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay). Season two will also welcome some new faces, including Scoop's Billie Piper, Thandiwe Newton, Fool Me Once's Joanna Lumley and Steve Buscemi.
Wednesday streams on Netflix. Season 2 is in production.
