I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is one of toughest reality shows out there, what with the disgusting things you have to eat and creepy-crawlies creepy-crawling all over the place.

For Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine, who has played Fiz on the soap since 2001, it's going to be even more difficult because she will be missing the third birthday of her son, Albert.

Despite all of that, she is determined to do it, in honour of her late father.

"I lost my dad earlier this year and that was a big thing," she admitted. "But I knew he would have told me to do it.

"He always told me to do stuff and he always encouraged me.

"He kept saying, 'Give it a go to find out if you are good enough or not'. And so that was a big part of it."

She also said that she expects to cry a LOT in the jungle, but she will stand up for herself or anyone else in the jungle who is being put down.

This year's I'm a Celebrity line-up consists of another soap star in addition to Jennie, a former girl group member, a YouTuber, a world-famous boxer and more.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! returns this Sunday (November 19) on ITV.
