Friends star Jennifer Aniston has admitted that she considered quitting acting after a recent project left her feeling disillusioned.
While appearing as a guest on SmartLess podcast, which is hosted by BoJack Horseman's Will Arnett, Will & Grace's Sean Hayes and her Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Bateman, the star said the thought of leaving the acting world behind has "crossed [her] mind" over the last couple of years.
"[This was] before The Morning Show," Aniston explained, making it clear that her doubts did not stem from the broadcasting drama she produced and starred in alongside Reese Witherspoon.
"It was after a job I had completed, and I was like, 'Whoa, that was really... That sucked the life out of me, and I don't know if this is what interests me.'"
"Was it a creative sort of wall that you hit? Or was it more about the people you were working with? Or were you just sort of, like, over it all?" Bateman asked, to which she replied: "It was an unprepared project. We've all been a part of them.
"You always say, 'I'll never again! Never again! I will never back up into a start date!'"
That said, later on in the interview, she spelled out that she "always love(s) shooting with Sandler" – so it's likely that it's not the latter. Of course, there's always a chance that the title was never released, too.
Either way, we're sure glad it looks like she's sticking around.
