Jennifer Aniston has revealed that, despite seemingly dragging her feet before, she may actually be very much up to do a Friends reboot – it's just her male former co-stars who aren't that into it.

Speaking to James Corden on The Late, Late Show, referring to co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox, the Rachel Green actress said: "Listen, the girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason - I don’t know."

She joked: "And so, we’ve decided that we’ll just do … a remake of The Golden Girls in 40 years."

What's the deal, Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer?

And while Friends fans are still celebrating the big news that Netflix is keeping the show despite it being in danger of leaving the streaming service, Jennifer admitted that she wasn't even aware of all the hoopla.

She told the late night host: "I didn't know that it was even supposed to be taken away. So this is all news to me."

So this it sounds like it's good news all round.

Even though Jennifer and the Friends cast have shut down rumours about a possible reunion on multiple occasions, there's still hope to see the female trio shine in in Golden Girls remake, and we're totally here for it.
