Jennifer Aniston has confirmed she has cut people out of her life for their views on Covid vaccination.

The Friends star has criticised those who have their views influenced by “fear and propaganda” in a recent interview with InStyle.

“There’s a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts,” the 52-year-old said. “It’s a real shame. I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated].”

Aniston said losing friends over the issue has been “unfortunate”.

The actor said it was people’s “moral and professional obligation” to let others know whether or not they had been vaccinated.

Aniston added: “It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.”

She added she felt “a lot of people just don’t listen to the facts” when it came to the Covid vaccine.

On Tuesday, Aniston and the other cast members of Friends took to social media to promote a collection of charity merchandise.

Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Matt Le Blanc have created the collection of apparel that will be released over the next nine months.

There will be three different drops - each featuring moments and phrases from across the 10 series of one of the most popular sitcoms in history.

Aniston wrote on Instragram: “Excited to show you guys some pieces from the first ever⁣ merch collection. Half of my proceeds from this limited drop will benefit [America Cares] an organization I love… which is working to provide relief, mental health care, and medical aid to communities and individuals affected by Covid-19.”
