Jennifer Garner has a way of making everything adorable — even making dinner. On Instagram, she gushed about her fave cookbook Modern Comfort Food. It her weekend a boost — and she read it like novel before diving into the actual cooking.

"Everything in here is EXACTLY what you want to be cooking and exactly what you want to be eating right now," Garner said before giving us an episode of the Pretend Cooking Show that she does for the 'gram. She whipped up Ina's Crispy Chicken with Lemon Orzo — and brought in a surprise guest.

Over video, Jennifer Walks through the recipe with Ina looking over her shoulder virtually, giving her tips and advice along the way. And like any good fangirl would do, while Jennifer waits for the chicken to finish cooking, she finishes the Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream recipe that she picked up from the book — showing off the results to Ina. But that's not the of her cooking trophies — Jennifer clearly cannot get enough of this book because also pulls out the frozen Paloma she made using Ina's recipe. And there's so much more to get out of this book — 85 recipes in all!
