Jeremy Allen White Serves Up a Classic Tux on the Emmys 2024 Red Carpet

The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White brought new life to a classic suit on the 2024 Emmys red carpet. White, who is up for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, wore a sleek black tuxedo, complete with a black bow tie and his hair brushed back.

Though he posed solo, White is sharing his big night with several of his The Bear co-stars, including his good friend Ayo Edebiri, who is up for Best Actress in a Comedy Series and walked the carpet in a custom Bottega Veneta gown.

In Vanity Fair’s May cover story on Edebiri, White reflected on their relationship. “We really enjoy each other in life, on camera and off camera,” he said. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for her as a person, but also as an artist. And so I hope that sort of that kind of thing shines through on camera between [our characters] Carm and Syd. Syd is always able to...I don’t know, to deliver something different to Carmy, and she’s usually right. And I guess I think Ayo is also usually right.”

Edebiri added of her relationship with White, “Work can be a very intimate thing and a very personal thing and a very emotional thing, and I think when you’re also in industries that are creative or creative adjacent, I think there’s something that also invokes feelings of passion. Also, boy’s got some beautiful blue eyes. You know what I mean? Those are eyes you want to project onto.”
