Jeremy Allen White Is a 'Sun-Drenched Daydream' in Fall 2024 Calvin Klein Campaign – Check Out the New Photos!
The actor, who's back for a second round of shirtless shots for the brand, recalled being 'so insecure' ahead of the first campaign
Jeremy Allen White is trading chef's whites for faded blues!
The actor, 33, revisited the vibes from his partially-clothed spring campaign for Calvin Klein's Fall 2024 denim ads. He struck some shirtless poses in the brand’s relaxed denim looks, including a pair of black jeans and a sleeveless jean jacket, channeling an old-fashion Americana look.
"Calvin Klein’s aesthetic has always been timeless, and it was great to be back with them and the entire creative team for this new campaign," White said in a statement (Cut to: The actor dressed casually in a pair of dark wash straight-leg jeans and a black sleeveless T-shirt with the iconic brand.)
And for fans of White's initial undies-forward ad campaign for Calvin Klein, he's got more in that vein: One image depicts him ditching the denim for Calvin Klein underwear and a pair of white socks.
In another shot, The Bear star (photographed by Mert Alas) sits poolside in black briefs, joined by two dogs who cheerfully run around him as he smoldered poolside.
Speaking to GQ ahead of his second campaign drop, White recalled being "so insecure" about shooting in his skivvies, but grateful the shots were so well-received.
" I felt so insecure leading up to the shoot itself, and it felt kind of crazy," he said. "When they put the billboard up on Houston, I woke up early that morning and I went with a buddy of mine who brought his camera and took it in before the public took it in. And that felt really wonderful and intimate, and like an achievement. It was still just mine in a really nice way. And then everybody else saw it in the weeks to come. For the most part people were excited about it, and that was cool and surprising"
The campaign video, shared on Instagram, is set to the soft rock tune "Crimson and Clover" by The Shacks, originally performed by Tommy James and the Shondells, and shows White enjoying the summer heat in his partially dressed getups. He pours a bottle of water down his chest in one of the shots (is that a literal thirst trap?) while doing sit ups in another.
"@jeremyallenwhitefinally is a sun-drenched daydream. See every moment through a new lens," the brand captioned the post.
PEOPLE debuted his first campaign in January, during which White complimented the Calvin Klein clothing line, specifically the classic plain tees, which he called "wonderful."
"I think it’s just the fit," he said of the attire. "There’s also the texture and comfort of it. For me, it’s the hem on the waist. I like it closer to the waistline. Like this wonderful Calvin Klein white tee, the sleeves should wrap just around the shoulders. That’s what makes a nice white tee."
Other stars who’ve stripped down for Calvin Klein in the past include Mark Wahlberg, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Justin Bieber and Kellan Lutz. Wahlberg gave White a warm welcome to the brand in March, telling PEOPLE that he is "absolutely" a worthy successor.
“There’s been many, many worthy successors,” the actor added.
The Union actor noted that he’s a fan of White’s acting work and hopes to work with him in the future. "I think that guy's really talented," he said. "So we're sending him a script — a cool story that we think he'd be great for."
Earlier this summer, White's hit series The Bear set a new record in the comedy category for the 2024 Emmy Awards with 23 nominations. The show usurped the record previously held by NBC’s 30 Rock in 2009 with 22 nominations.
White received a nomination for outstanding lead actor for his role as troubled chef Carmy Berzatto, while Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Liza Colón-Zayas and director Christopher Storer also received individual nods. The show's several guest stars also received nominations with Jamie Lee Curtis, Bob Odenkirk, Will Poulter, Olivia Colman and Jon Bernthal also getting recognition for their work on the series.

The show returned for its third season on June 26, which consisted of eight episodes that dropped all at once on Hulu.
White has recently starred in the movies Fingernails and The Iron Claw, and is set to star in the upcoming movie You Can’t Win alongside Julia Garner and Michael Pitt, who also produced. According to a synopsis, the movie takes place in the 1920s and follows "the unusual friendship between an adventurer and a young prostitute."
