A-level results day is arguably one of the most pivotal days in the education calendar, and with thousands of students across the country set to receive their grades, Jeremy Clarkson has shared a message of support.
The former Top Gear presenter – who has been filming his new show, The Grand Tour, with James May and Richard Hammond – posted an uplifting message, encouraging students who may feel disappointed with their grades.
On Thursday morning (Aug 18), he tweeted: “If your A level results are disappointing, don’t worry. I got a C and two Us, and I’m currently on a superyacht in the Med (sic).”
Users were quick to respond to his wisdom, with one writing: “I got an E and two Us and now I’m following you.” As another added: “These annual tweets are truly inspirational.”
