Jeremy Clarkson's partner, Lisa Hogan, has opened up about the challenges of living with the former Top Gear presenter due to his intense work ethic.

Despite transitioning from TV's foremost petrolhead to a farming enthusiast with the success of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime, it's Jeremy's relentless drive that Lisa finds tough at times. The couple has been together since 2017, and Lisa describes their relationship as "difficult" but admires the "extraordinary" amount he accomplishes daily.

She shared: "He's a workaholic, and that can be difficult sometimes. I think I work quite hard, but I'm like a sloth in comparison to him. He is extraordinary with the amount he can power through in one day."

Lisa also highlighted Jeremy's ability to juggle multiple projects, including The Grand Tour, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and writing up to four columns a week. She added: "He was doing The Grand Tour, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and writing three columns a week, sometimes four. He has an extraordinary ability to get stuff done, so I've had to raise my game a lot living with him. I would like to be a lot lazier, if I'm being honest.", reports the Mirror.

Humorously, Lisa suggested that a significant motivation for Jeremy's diligence is his preference to avoid moving back to the North of England. She commented: "Not wanting to go back and live in the North of England. He's just one of those characters, but I think he wants to maintain his life."

She has addressed rumours of an impending proposal after she hinted at the idea on Clarkson's Farm, following her 51st birthday celebration. To this, Lisa responded: "I was the one who made the joke - and I like a good wind-up with Jeremy, so it's all teasing and it's all in good spirit and I really don't mind any of that. I would be first to be the wind-up merchant."

The former Top Gear presenter recently reacted bluntly to his Clarkson's Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper's Instagram post joking about Lisa. After Jeremy wished Hogan a happy birthday via Instagram, Kaleb commented beneath the post:"Now the question is did Lisa like my singing this morning happy birthday," to which Jeremy curtly replied "No" Lisa diffused the situation with her own comment, stating she "adored all perfectly sung first five words", concluding: "I really did, t'was perfection."
