Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan has provided fans with a heartwarming update on the happenings at Diddly Squat Farm after tragedy struck. The Oxfordshire farm is the centrepiece of the hit Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, which recently launched its third season just a couple of months back.

The show, featuring Jeremy, aged 64, and Lisa, aged 51, has been such a success that it's already been confirmed for a fourth season. In the latest instalment, viewers watched as the pair dealt with the tragic loss of several newborn piglets on the farm.

An emotional scene showed Lisa in tears, and Jeremy later commented: "The piglets were sadly accidentally crushed by their mothers while some died of natural causes in infancy." Speaking to Country and Town House magazine before the release of the third series, Jeremy revealed: "They just died in alarming numbers and it was very heartbreaking. I'd never ever seen Lisa cry."

He continued, "Not once, ever - until that all started unfolding.", reports the Mirror. Despite the earlier upset, Lisa took to Instagram this week to post a cheerful update from the farm.

She uploaded a video showing a lively group of piglets playing in hay, with their mother resting close by. In the footage, she seemed to indicate that they were "healthy".

Her caption to her followers read: "Piglet alert! Many piglets, from our first gilt born on the farm (now that she's produced a litter, she's called a sow). Births were fast and easy and we are extremely proud grand pigletarents."

One fan commented: "So glad all went well after the sadness of previous births." Another shared their elation: "Wonderful news."

A third chimed in with relief: "Oh thank goodness! " while another added a dose of adoration: "Awwww the cutest."
