Jeremy Clarkson, the star of The Grand Tour, has faced a series of challenges during the latest season of his other Amazon Prime show, Clarkson's Farm. The former Top Gear presenter sadly lost several newborn piglets and found it difficult to make a profit solely from farming.

He also received a closure notice from the council for Diddly Squat Farm. Despite these hurdles, his appearances on Clarkson's Farm and a substantial payout from The Grand Tour have significantly boosted his financial status.

But just how much is he worth? Last year, it was reported that the 63 year old TV star had accumulated an estimated fortune of around £55 million.

The former BBC host began his career modestly as a motoring journalist at the Rotherham Advertiser, but his earnings have soared since then. He first joined Top Gear as a host in 1988, working for ten years before returning in 2002, eventually becoming the BBC's highest-paid star, reports the Mirror.

Despite the setback, Jeremy managed to rebound, doubling his annual television salary to an estimated £3 million when he secured a presenting role on ITV's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

It's also been suggested that he received a hefty payout after selling his 50 per cent stake in the production company Bedder 6, which held the rights to Top Gear.

Jeremy Clarkson's career skyrocketed after he netted a staggering £160 million deal with Amazon Prime, producing 36 edge-of-your-seat episodes of The Grand Tour. But the time has come for Jeremy, along with his partners in mischief - Richard Hammond and James May - as they put brakes on the show, ending with their final chapter, 'The Grand Tour: One for the Road'.

It's rumoured that Jeremy kept raking in an impressive £10 million annually from his association with the much-loved series.

Despite enjoying hefty pay cheques and the dazzle of celebrity life, Jeremy took a surprising detour into farming, taking on the challenge of cultivating crops on his Oxfordshire farm a development few predicted.

The venture turned out to be more gruelling than glamorous, with Jeremy later recounting how his bank balance only saw a measly increase of £114 following his first harvest.

An advisor was left drop-jawed when the TV personality whimsically proposed starting his own beer brand.

Nevertheless, ever the opportunist, Jeremy capitalised on his rural exploits with the successful Amazon Prime documentary 'Clarkson's Farm', turning the limelight towards the trials and tribulations at Diddly Squat Farm.

In a recent dramatic episode, calamity ensued as Jeremy and his dependable partner Kaleb Cooper found their cider supply unexpectedly fermenting into explosive projectiles, prompting them to urgently warn their followers.

Jeremy made a panic-stricken announcement to Kaleb: "The cider is exploding." He said: "Immediately Kaleb and I rushed off to consult Rick, our lager brewer, about what had gone wrong."

Rick, their beer guru, broke the bad news that "thousands" of bottles had shattered. It's reported that telly favourite Jeremy Clarkson bags a cool £25k for just one after-dinner speech. His impressive income streams from telly, writing best-selling books, and penning columns have amassed him a jaw-dropping estimated fortune of £55 million.

Adding to his wealth, Clarkson boasts a fleet of classic cars from swanky marques like Ferrari, Mercedes, Lamborghini, and McLaren, valued at over half a million quid.
