Jeremy Corbyn to appear on celebrity special of Gogglebox to raise cancer awareness
Jeremy Corbyn is set to swap the despatch box for the sofa after he agreed to appear on a celebrity version of Gogglebox.
The Labour leader will wax lyrical about TV shows with a mystery celebrity for a charity version of the Channel 4 show.
The special edition of the show will help raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
However, anyone hoping for a glimpse inside Mr Corbyn’s home will be disappointed as the show is expected to be filmed at a different location.
A Labour source said: “He’s really looking forward to it – it’s a great programme for a great cause.”
