Jeremy McConnell 'vows to take ex Stephanie Davis to court for claiming he killed their unborn baby'
Jeremy McConnell is said to be furious with ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis after she claimed he was the reason she miscarried their second child.
The reality TV star, who was convicted of assaulting Stephanie last week, is now said to be planning legal action and wants Steph to ‘face justice.’
‘After the court case, Jeremy wanted to let everything lie with her because she is the mother of his child,’ a source told The Sun.
‘He never wanted to see Steph ever again – the relationship is too toxic and painful.
‘However, when she said he killed their baby, he was furious.
‘He was so upset and is seeking advice from a solicitor regarding her claims he killed the baby, as it’s untrue.
‘He also wants her to face justice for what happened back in July in their hotel room.’
In an explosive Instagram post earlier this month, Stephanie – who escaped GBH charges after a late night bust-up at a hotel with Jeremy in July – revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage before laying the blame on Jeremy.
‘He ruined my life and killed our child! And for that I can never forgive him,’ she said.
Jeremy was handed a suspended sentenced last week after being convicted of assaulting his ex in her home.
The judge said he had shown no remorse for the attack, or the impact it must have had on the couple’s young baby, but she refused to impose an immediate jail term after hearing Jeremy had no previous convictions.
She did however impose a restraining order, preventing Jeremy from contacting Stephanie for three years, meaning he will have to make special arrangements to see his son.
Following his sentencing, Stephanie was said to be pleased with the outcome.
‘This case has put her through hell and back but she’s really pleased with the result. Steph now has to come to terms with continuing as a single mum bringing up her son,’ a source told MailOnline.
