Jesse Marsch gets last laugh over his former Leeds United favourite
There was varying degrees of success for the first lot of Leeds United's international contingent earlier this week. After the latest weekend games, every Whites' player who was called up to represent their respective countries has had a taste of the action.
International duty can often leave little to be desired, but with a reunion against former Leeds' boss Jesse Marsch on the cards for one Whites star, a bizarre cameo up front for another and one nation going down to 10 men, it's fair to say the latest round of fixtures was an improvement on the rest.
LeedsLive has taken a look at the latest action to save you a job.

Junior Firpo
Where better to start than with the Dominican Republic and Junior Firpo? A left-back by trade, the Leeds United defender started up front for the Caribbean nation in their CONCAF Nations League clash with Bermuda.
Unfortunately for those Whites' fans keen to see how he fared, the experiment lasted just 10 minutes after Edarlyn Reyes was sent off, with Firpo moving back to left-back. Kane Crichlow gave the hosts the lead, but remarkably, the Dominican Republic came from behind to win 3-2.
Dorny Romero equalised after the half hour mark, with Reggie Lamb restoring Bermuda's lead on the 51st minute. Heinz Morschel equalised just past the hour before Ronaldo Vasquez grabbed a winner in the 84th minute to give the ten men the win.
Brenden Aaronson
Across the pond, Brenden Aaronson came up against the man who signed him for Leeds United - Jesse Marsch. The former Whites boss is now in charge of Canada and was able to get one over his former player.
Aaronson, who has made a bright start to the season at Elland Road, played 77 minutes in the USMNT's 2-1 defeat to their neighbours. Jacob Shaffelburg and Jonathan David were on hand to score for Marsch's men, who were two goals to the good heading into the final hour.
Luca de la Torre was on hand to half the deficit but the hosts were unable to equalise.
Ilia Gruev
The Leeds midfielder has been a mainstay in Daniel Farke's starting XI so far this season and played the full 90 minutes for Bulgaria in their 0-0 draw with Belarus. The 24-year-old operated in a deeper midfield role, akin to the role he plays at Leeds.
Bulgaria went down to ten-men after Filip Krastev was sent off on the 73rd minute but were able to hold out for a 0-0 draw.
