Jessica Plummer explains how she struggled post-I'm a Celebrity

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Jessica Plummer has opened up about how she struggled to readjust to life outside of the castle.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy following her nomination at the BAFTA TV Awards, the former EastEnders actress and Neon Jungle star explained how long it took for her to get back to normality after the ITV show ended in early December.

"Oh my goodness, I kept losing my phone everywhere because I wasn't used to having it," she said. "I completely forgot how to do the school run. I dropped my daughter off to school 45 minutes early the first day!

"I was never a cook, but little things like making my own food and things like that. Driving my car... I was driving my car really slowly and was really worried that I couldn't drive properly. Parking was atrocious...

"You've got to remember it wasn't just the castle – I was in lockdown two weeks prior to that as well. So it was over a month's worth of being out of reality and then playing catch-up.

"When I was in there, I remember thinking I was going to really appreciate the small things like running water and using my washing machine. You do for about a week, but then it's back to normality!"

The star also stated that the Cast of 2020 WhatsApp group is still going strong, and she would like the show to continue in the castle because she hasn't watched her series back yet and wants to see how it looks on screen.
