Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey ‘At War’ After She Labels Their Marriage Her ‘Biggest Money Mistake’

Jessica Simpson has reportedly left her ex-husband Nick Lachey ‘furious’ after labelling their marriage her ‘biggest money mistake’.

Yikes.

The alleged trouble started when Jess, 35, visited the New York Stock Exchange and spoke to Kelly Evans from ‘Closing Bell’ about her biggest financial mistakes.

She admitted: “The biggest money mistakes? I don’t know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage.

Kelly replied: “That’s actually a common answer believe it or not.”

The two tied the knot in 2002, but sadly divorced four years later. Jessica is now married to former NFL player Eric Johnson, while Nick has two children with wife Vanessa Minnillo.

An insider has since explained what she meant by her confession, telling Radar Online: “The real story is that Jessica paid Nick $12 million in the divorce.

“That is what she meant when she said her first marriage was her biggest money mistake!

“The reality is that her dad, Joe, refused to let Jess sign a pre-nup as Nick was worth more when they got married! That came back to bite her in the ass!”

The source continued on to claim that Nick “got more from her than he got from his entire music career. He never needs to work again!”

However, the drama continues as the insider added that Nick, 41, is ‘fuming’ about the comments his ex made.

The source said: “They’re at war again. Her comments have caused him to explode.”
