Jesy Nelson Admits Becoming ‘Reclusive’ As She Hints At Taking A Break From Little Mix

Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has raised some questions about her spot in the band, after admitting that she’s more about ‘peace and quiet’ these days.

The 24-year-old was noticeably absent from her bandmates’ poolside photo session as they topped up on their Vitamin D in Australia last week, and now the singer has revealed that she has become somewhat of a ‘recluse.’

Rather than partying with Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, Jesy would prefer to spend her time in the countryside or enjoying peaceful walks.

Speaking in an interview with Now magazine, she revealed: “When we go out on tour the girls want to go clubbing – like, Leigh loves going to made parties and Vegas – but I literally just want to chill, be a tramp, wear no make-up, have no one know who I am and just hide away for a bit.”

We can’t even imagine how appealing that scenario must be for a worldwide celebrity, who makes the headlines week after week!

The songstress continued to open up about her struggles in the spotlight, explaining: “I feel as I’m getting older I’m becoming a little recluse. I’m really turning into an old lady!

“I love them to pieces but because I’m the older one in the group I just feel like I’m turning into an old woman. I love peace and quiet.”

The X Factor star also hinted that some more time away could be on the horizon, after the last break was so successful.

She explained: “We just had a break and all I wanted was to go somewhere no one would find me, so me and Jake [Roche] found a random little place and got a boat and did lots of hiking and stuff.”

Just last week, Jesy was dealt another blow when she was forced to pull out of a show after injuring her ankle.

To put any prospective rumours to bed, the brunette beauty shared the news - and a photo of her swollen foot – with her fans on Instagram.

She wrote: “Oh god guys it’s always me? so so gutted I couldn’t perform for the last part of the KL show tonight!

“Thanks to my 3 amazing girlies for carrying on without me!

“Torn the ligaments in my ankle but resting up for the Singapore show on Monday… Just maybe no dancing for me can’t wait to see all you Singapore mixers. (sic)”

The determined singer wowed fans when she appeared on stage in a wheelchair at the Singapore show, proving to be a true professional by continuing to contribute her vocals to the band, despite her wounded state.

Little Mix are currently in the middle of a massive 60-date world tour, so let’s just hope that Jesy’s fiancé, Jake, has all of the necessary supplies for a cosy night in once she returns.
