There’s been an awful lot of drama making the rounds about the Little Mix ladies lately, so naturally we’re here to set the record straight.
It all started when Perrie Edwards posted a group picture from Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards a few days ago, but cropped Jesy Nelson out of the frame, sparking speculation that there might be some trouble brewing.
Thankfully though, Pez shutdown that initial rumour as she confirmed that there was absolutely no beef between the gorgeous foursome, instead revealing the sweetest and most genuine reason behind the edit.
As a side note to thanking fans for their ongoing support, the blonde bombshell wrote: “Oh and Jesy is cropped out of the picture because she doesn’t like any of the photos!”
So everything appeared to be right in the world again – that is, until Jesy added a massive plot twist to the whole suspicious saga as she went on to post seven different angles of herself, across five photos from the event, on her personal Instagram account.
As per usual, Jesy looked stunningly beautiful in all of the pictures, leaving many fans wondering why she hadn’t made the cut the first time around, with some even fearing that it signalled a fall out between the pair.
With no reference from Jes about the cropped image, speculation was rife on social media, as one distressed fan wrote: “If Jesy doesn’t like the photo, then why the hell she post the same picture of this in her Instagram? And its cropped to. What happen kweens? Tell us!! (sic)”
And another quizzed: “I know Perrie said that Jesy is cropped out because she doesn’t like the pics but how come she’s posted them on her account then? Just a question.”
By this point, it’s safe to say we all needed to have lie down – including Jesy and Perrie, who joined each other in bed to address the situation in the best possible way: using Snapchat filters.
Adopting a cuddly bear and squeaky voice filter, Jesy explained: “So we’d just like to address the situation of the friendship between me and Perrie. Do you think I’d be laying in her bed if I weren’t friends with her?!”
In the short clip – captioned “Best fwends” (sic) – Perrie can be heard giggling in the background, as the 25-year-old struggles to contain her own laughter.
Meanwhile a spokesperson for the band told the Daily Star: “This is absolutely nonsense created out of nothing. There is no fallout whatsoever within Little Mix. We now sadly live in a world where stories are fabricated from Instagram photos posts.”
So sad, and yet so true.
