Jet2 announces five new Birmingham Airport destinations including 'exclusive routes'
Jet2 has added five new destinations to its Birmingham Airport schedule including an exclusive route that will link BHX to Estonia for the first time.
Jet2 and Jet2holidays have expanded their summer and winter programmes, giving Brummies the choice of more holiday destinations in Greece and Italy as well as winter breaks to Tallinn.
The move will see three new Greek islands added to the airline's holiday offering in summer 2025 - Poros, Aegina and Leros. Holidaymakers can escape the crowds of Greece's more popular tourist destinations in favour of these idyllic islands, which are all home to lush greenery, inviting beaches and charming towns to explore.

Leros will be accessible via Kos Airport with up to six weekly services from Birmingham Airport running in summer 2025. Customers booking with Jet2holidays will have ferry and shuttle transfers included in the price. Part of the Dodecanese islands, Leros is known for its crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and peaceful atmosphere, making it the ultimate pick for a relaxing, go-slow getaway.
The Estonian capital and Christmas market destination of Tallinn will be an exclusive route, set to launch in winter 2025/26. Jet2 said the launch of Tallinn flights was in response to 'the increasing number of customers' booking breaks to Europe's Christmas markets.
Tallinn's festive markets are made up of wooden stalls dotted through the city's old town, selling handmade gifts, decorations and traditional food and drink. Two weekly trips will depart every Monday and Friday between November 28 and December 19.
Palermo in Sicily will be a later addition as Jet2 launches the exclusive route for summer 2026. Flights will depart every Wednesday from Birmingham Airport between May 6 and October 28, 2026.
It's part of the airline's expansion plans in Italy, giving holidaymakers in the Midlands access to resorts in Campofelice Di Roccella, Cefalu and Pollinia on the island of Sicily.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "The launch of five brand-new destinations from Birmingham Airport is fantastic news for our customers and it comes in direct response to the demand for our award-winning holidays no matter what time of the year. As a result of today's announcement, we are expanding our summer sun programme as well as our fantastic selection of Christmas Markets trips.
"Greece and Italy continue to be summer sunshine favourites, so we are adding even more choice thanks to the introduction of Poros, Aegina, Leros and Palermo, and the addition of magical Tallinn expands our Christmas markets programme even further for next winter."
Tom Screen, aviation director at Birmingham Airport, said: "We are delighted to partner with Jet2 in offering these five fantastic destinations, giving passengers even more choice year-round. With popular summer spots, plus magical Tallinn for Christmas Markets, this expansion meets growing demand and enhances our offerings to holidaymakers."
