Jet2 announces new route to 'ideal' sunny destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Jet2 has announced a new destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The airline and package holiday company will launch trips to the Greek island of Leros in summer 2025.
Customers can reach Leros via Kos Airport, with Jet2 weekly services departing from Liverpool John Lennon Airport from next summer. Those travelling with Jet2holidays will have ferry and shuttle transfers included. About Leros, Jet2 says: "Part of the Dodecanese islands, Leros is known for its crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and peaceful atmosphere, making it the ultimate pick for a relaxing, go-slow summer holiday.
"Leros also boasts the opportunity to take in three different snapshots of the island through the capital, Platanos, with its ridge of hills and clusters of windmills; Agia Marina – offering traditional residences, stately homes and architecture; and Panteli, a traditional fishing village. Due to its ideal location, it is easy to explore nearby islands of Kalymnos, Kos and Nisyros too."
