Jhon Duran ‘next sale’ hope revealed as Aston Villa striker receives attitude advice
Jhon Duran’s uncle hopes the Aston Villa striker’s next sale “is to Real Madrid”.
Duran has made an electric start to the new season for Villa, scoring five goals in eight matches.
He set the tone with an opening day winner against West Ham and has not looked back, netting three more times in the Premier League and once in the Carabao Cup. He will now be hoping to be involved when Villa face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on a huge night at Villa Park tonight.
Despite his prolific scoring form for Unai Emery’s side, the 20-year-old’s future at Villa has continuously been in the spotlight, with Chelsea and West Ham both interested during the summer transfer window.

Speaking about his nephew in an interview with Gol Caracol, Oswaldo Duran said: “We are talking about a player who, if he has his feet on the ground, if he lets himself be guided by his advisors, will be very great because he is very young and is not yet mature as an athlete.
“Jhon Jader is still a 20-year-old boy and there is a lot of room for improvement. When he plays as a starter, he will be among the top scorers in any league he plays in.
“God gave him virtues that he has to take advantage of and polish, such as his aerial game or getting behind the backs of defenders. Let’s hope that the next sale is to Real Madrid.”
