Jim Carrey Pays Emotional Tribute To Cathriona White On Twitter

Jim Carrey has posted an emotional tribute to his late girlfriend, Cathriona White, on his Twitter page on the day that the 30-year-old was laid to rest.

The actor shared an artistic silhouetted photo of himself and his former flame alongside the caption: “Love cannot be lost” with the rose emoji.

Rather poignantly, Jim hadn’t tweeted since September 17th, with his last two photos being images of himself that he had credited to Cathriona.

It has been almost two weeks since Cathriona was tragically found dead in her Los Angeles home, with Jim’s tweet coming just mere hours after he had been a pallbearer at the make-up artist’s funeral in Cappawhite, Ireland.

Speaking to People magazine, a source revealed that the star was “terribly upset” throughout the day, sharing: “It was nice that he carried her coffin.

“Cathriona’s sisters and family seemed very glad to have him there.”

During the service at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Cathriona’s home village, Parish Preist Tadhg Furlong paid tribute: “Cathriona’s approach to life was to take on, to challenge the county, the country, the world.

“You remember the outgoing personality - the strong-willed, determined character. Cathriona was a light to so many. Something of the light has gone out. Yet much remains.
