Florence Pugh, Hailey Bieber and Lily James party at London Fashion Week
London Fashion Week began with huge enthusiasm on Friday night as show attendees hopped from late-night shows to the afterparties.
The Dorchester was the place to be seen on the opening evening as ES Magazine and Perfect Magazine joined forces for an almighty fashion bash.
Editors Ben Cobb and Katie Grand, of ES and Perfect respectfully, led the way down the red carpet in Mayfair. Joining them in toasting the week of shows ahead was Joan Collins, who sparkled in a black sequin overcoat, Lily James, who was wrapped up in a leather trench, and singer Mahalia who rocked a red biker jacket.
London’s party girls were also out in full force. Lady Lola Bute sported a see-through vintage frock, as she, Evie Henderson, Tigerlily Taylor and Clara Paget danced the night away.
Jamie Winstone was — as ever — the life of the party in a statement beaded headpiece, along with Damian Hurley, who was sleek in black, and Lennon Gallagher with girlfriend Isobel Richmond in tow.
Nearby at Nolita Social, Conner Ives celebrated his AW23 runway show with a smart dinner for his friends and clients. There to support were It-girls Tish Weinstock, Ella Richards and Camille Charriere, who were visions in the Central Saint Martins graduate’s designs.
There was a host of shows on Saturday, followed by lively afterparties. Richard Quinn hosted a beautiful catwalk show with fresh flowers and shrubs, and guests including Lisa Rinna and Bettina Looney made their way to the MAC afterparty next door.
Many were spotted at the Standard, however, where David Koma threw his official afterparty in the Sweeties club. Designers Robyn Lynch and 16Arlington’s Marco Capaldo held smaller celebrations around the hotel.
Football presenter Alex Scott led the way to the top floor in a shimmering gold cut-out gown. She was joined by C-pop star Tia Lee, who posed with the Georgian designer, as well as models Wallis Day and Eva Apio.
British Vogue on Sunday joined forces with Tiffany and took advantage of the Baftas and LFW overlap by hosting their annual bash in celebration of fashion and film.
Vogue editors Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful ruled the room at Annabel’s, Mayfair, joined by actors Florence Pugh, Anya-Taylor Joy and Eddie Redmayne. Representing fashion, models Jourdan Dunn and Winnie Harlow danced the night away with designer Harris Reed.
For a final hurrah, Moncler put on a 10,000-strong mega-show at Kensington Olympia London on Monday night. Ushered onto the VIP tables to watch Alicia Keys sing were Hailey and Justin Bieber, Leondaro DiCaprio, Marcus Rashford and Pharrell Williams.
As with most nights this week, the Moncler-gang headed to Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone for a final few drinks. Late-night revellers on Monday included Campbell, DiCaprio, model Ashley Graham and Justin Bieber.
